Through my PR work, I learned about something really cool and seemingly futuristic, but it's actually available NOW. You can go to an MD or medi-spa for a Suracell DNA swab kit, you then take a cheek swab and biomarker at home, send the kit back to Suracell, their CLIA-certified lab analyzes your DNA, and a physician customizes a nutritional supplement regimen (am and pm core supplements) for you on the basis of your DNA. Whereas companies like 23AndMe and Navigenics were handed a "cease and desist" for being Direct-to-Consumer, Suracell's offering is not DTC, nor does it deal with the dreaded "diagnosing."
